Lucid /Impact is the confluence of the Lucid Body training with the physical theatre company, Impact Theatre. As the popularity of Lucid Body training for actors is growing, the work is having an impact not just in the theatre world, but also in the community. The process of chakra exploration offers a therapeutic process to actors needing to offer every aspect of themselves to their craft. This process carries over to our community, and is relevant for anyone interested in healing the wounds from the past. History is written on the body, which needs opportunities to shed old layers like a seal molting its yearly skin.
Lucid /Impact is dedicated to community outreach. We are taking the work to women’s shelters, rape crisis advocates, homeless gay youth, and extending internationally into a program in Tanzania. We offer performances for the community, as well as creating workshop performances with the community.
